In Common – Rituale eines zukünftigen Miteinanders/rituals of togetherness
Unter dem Motto »das gute Leben für alle« versammeln sich neue Ideen von städtischem Wohnen, Teilen, Zusammenleben. Wie können wir das, was wir Kunst und Kultur nennen, entsprechend gestalten? Die allgegenwärtigen systemischen Krisen fordern uns, neue urbane Möglichkeitsräum zu er-finden. Räume, die sich als Gegen-Entwürfe zum Mainstream aktueller Stadtpolitiken lesen lassen. Orte, die von einer Kultur des Miteinanders geprägt sind und nicht auf Konkurrenz und Kommerz gründen. Überzeugt davon, dass wir Stadt als sozial-ökologisch gerechten und lebendigen Raum nur gemeinsam erschaffen können, laden wir Euch ein: Wir wollen die vielfältigen, bereits existierenden Ansätze eines zukunftsfähigen Miteinanders in Augsburg er-kennen lernen, miteinander in Verbindung bringen und Öffentlichkeit für bereits erprobte Alternativen schaffen. Lasst uns zwischen bestehenden und neuen Gruppen, Initiativen und Akteur*innen Allianzen für ein zukunftsfähige Stadtkultur schmieden!
Commoning sehen wir als wirkmächtigen Ansatz, um mentale und materielle Infrastrukturen eines zukunftsfähigen urbanen Miteinanders zu kultivieren. In Kooperation mit dem Friedensbüro und der Petra-Kelly-Stiftung eröffnet das Grandhotel Cosmopolis mit Silke Helfrich im Rahmen des Kulturprogramms zum Augsburger Friedensfest einen Raum zur Stärkung von verschiedenen lokalen Beispielen des Commonings: Wie können wir Rituale des Miteinanders kultivieren und pflegen?
Mit der Veranstaltungsreihe nähern wir uns der Logik des Gemeinschaffens als möglichen Ausgangspunkt für substantielle Veränderungen unseres städtischen Zusammenlebens. Die einzelnen Veranstaltungen bauen aufeinander auf, sind aber über die begleitende Dokumentation und durch kurze Einführungen zu Beginn der Workshops für Neueinsteigende zugänglich. Es bedarf keiner Vorkenntnisse zum Thema Commons. Die Hauptsprache ist Deutsch, für eine Übersetzung ins Englische ist gesorgt, andere Sprachen sind bei Bedarf und nach Vorankündigung möglich.

Under the motto „the good life for everyone“ new ideas of urban living, sharing, togetherness come together. How can we design what we call art and culture accordingly? The ubiquitous systemic crises require us to create new common spaces in the city. Spaces that can be read as counter-drafts to the mainstream of current urban politics. Places that are shaped by a culture of togetherness and are not based on competition and commerce. Convinced that we can create a socially and ecologically just and alive city only together, we invite you: We want to learn about the diverse, already existing approaches to just forms of coexistence in Augsburg, we’d like to bring them together and to make them public examples of already tried out and tested alternatives of urban life. Let us forge alliances for a sustainable urban culture between existing and new groups, initiatives and actors!
We see commoning as a powerful approach to cultivate mental and material infrastructures for a sustainable urban coexistence. In cooperation with the Friedensbüro and the Petra-Kelly-Stiftung, the Grandhotel Cosmopolis together with Silke Helfrich is opening a space to strengthen various local commoners as contribution to the cultural program around Augsburg’s peace festival: How can we care for and cultivate new rituals of togetherness?
With the series of events we approach the logic of commoning as a feasible starting point for substantial changes in our urban coexistence. The individual events build on one another, but are accessible to newcomers via the accompanying documentation and short introductions at the beginning of the workshops. No previous knowledge of commons is needed. The main language is German, translation into English is provided, other languages are possible if required and with prior notice.
