Hockerbau mit machen & erleben

Matthias von machen&erleben lädt euch ein, handwerklich aktiv zu sein. Ganz egal ob ihr erfahrene Handwerksprofis seid oder noch nie etwas selbst gebaut habt – kommt vorbei und lasst uns sägen, bohren und biegen.
Im Workshop bauen die Teilnehmer und Teilnehmerinnen aus Holz, Textil und Stahl ihren eigenen Hocker. Mit Hilfe der Anleitung und den Arbeitsvorrichtungen bearbeiten alle selbstständig das Materialset und lernen beim Sägen, Leimen, Biegen und Schrauben die Materialien und Werkzeuge kennen. Dazu liefert zu Anleitung Hintergrundwissen zu den unterschiedlichen Materialien – woher kommen unsere Ressourcen und wie werden Produkte eigentlich hergestellt?
Der Workshop richtet sich an alle Kinder, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen zwischen 14 und 99 Jahren, die Lust haben selbstständig einen Hocker zu bauen, dabei neues zu entdecken und zu lernen. Und weil wir wollen, dass diese Chance für so viele wie möglich gilt, ist die Teilnahme kostenlos und ihr bezahlt, was der Hocker euch wert ist und ihr euch leisten könnt. Pay what you want – Empfehlung: 40,- € pro Hocker.
Ihr könnt gerne zu zweit oder zu dritt einen gemeinsamen Hocker bauen. Die Teilnahme für Kinder unter 14 Jahren ist zusammen mit einer erwachsenen Person möglich.

Matthias of machen&erleben invites you to be active with your hands. It doesn’t matter whether you are an experienced craftsman or have never built anything yourself – come by and let’s saw, drill and bend.
In the workshop, the participants build their own stool out of wood, textile and steel. With the help of the instructions and the working devices, everyone works independently on the material set and gets to know the materials and tools while sawing, gluing, bending and screwing. In addition, the instructions provide background knowledge on the different materials – where do our resources come from and how are products actually manufactured?
The workshop is aimed at all children, adolescents and young adults between the ages of 14 and 99 who want to build a stool on their own and discover and learn new things in the process. And because we want this opportunity to be for as many as possible, participation is free and you pay what the stool is worth to you and you can afford. Pay what you want Recommendation: €40 per stool.
Two or three of you are welcome to build a stool together. Children under the age of 14 can participate with an adult.
